Easy to mount on a tool cart, Tool Boy allows tool assemblies to be rotated 360 degrees to easily access all features. Assemblies can be rotated on the horizontal plane and secured in the horizontal position, allowing tools to be tightened with substantially less force. This ergonomic and user-friendly design allows for quick assembling and disassembling of cutting tools on toolholders.
Control gauges are used to check the clamping capability of the hydraulic chuck. This takes place by inserting the control gauge into the chuck and tightening the clamping screw until you cannot turn the control gauge.
Then it should be possible to complete a minimum of three full turns of the pressurising screw before completely tightening (2.5 turns for ∅ 6 mm and ∅ 8 mm). This will confirm clamping capability is adequate.
