Seco Easyshrink devices are available in automatic and programmable modes. With two families - Easyshrink 15 and Easyshrink 20 - plus a full set of accessories, they fulfill the most demanding customer needs.
Automatic and programmable heating modes allow safe use of these devices with limited risk of overheating the Shrinkfit toolholders. These modes also provide customized programmable heating cycles for specific requirements, such as may be required by certain tools and custom-made toolholders.
The induction heating system with shrink grip and shrink release capability covers 3 to 32 mm for carbide and heavy metal, and 6 to 32 mm for steel and HSS. Induction heating achieves shrink grip and shrink release in a few seconds. Multiple cooling solutions are available to quickly cool the toolholder via a controlled process that will avoid damaging the toolholder.
A variety of accessories are available for using different toolholders with the Easyshrink device, including devices for air cooling, height measuring, water cooling, shrink grip and shrink release. The machine-side connection, workpiece-side type and size of toolholders should all be considered when selecting the correct accessories.
